This WebQuest was originally constructed as an activity for the course IT341, Web Ethics and Security Management, in the IT-Web Development program at ITT Technical Institute. It accompanies Unit 8, Malicious Code, in that course. As such, the learner is assumed to be a post-secondary student in an Associate degree level web development program with some web development knowledge. However, this WebQuest has been written to be appropriate for learners in the latter high school grades (11th and 12th) who are sufficiently familiar with using the World Wide Web. I invite feedback from high school teachers who use this WebQuest in classes on computers and/or sociology on their experiences so that I can make this WebQuest more age-appropriate.
